They disintegrate me just fine thanks!
Although they are so damn bold these days they don't even bother to hide on keep walls anymore. Last night I was popping my lvl2 morale on them and getting more kills than I ever have before. |
IDK I like the idea of them having lasers shoot out of their eyes. At least then I would know from where I got dead. Once second I have full health, then the next totally dead on the floor with fire all around me. |

Even Mythic understands how underpowered shaman are. I'm really happy they've been reading all those letters I sent them on the matter. |
But they still wouldn't give you your name back! |

| Shamans will get love before Zealots? Zealots will see something in 2-3 patches? What the freak man? What kind of d-bags have they selectively been listening to feedback from? Oh well. I guess it's good to see that we are on their radar. |

| Quote: | The team has worked very hard on this and the scope of this patch cycle demonstrates Mythic’s willingness to continue to work on WAR as it stands now and not focus resources in other directions. While the 1.2 patch, like big MMO patches in every game, came with its own warts, overall it was a big win for Mythic and the WAR community. I would be remiss if I didn’t talk a little bit about our next patch, 1.2.1. Currently, the 1.2.1 patch already contains 400+ bug fixes in both content and systems and we hope to add even more fixes to this list. Additionally, 1.2.1 also contains the initial Keep Upgrade system (more on this below), more improvements to T3 in terms of content and experience and the Combat and Careers team will give some extra loving to the Archmage, Shaman, White Lion, and Marauder, another Live Event and much more. Currently, this version is slated to be released next month.

This part was missed out on the origional post. Much love for the Marauder/Shaman changes although I feel Zealots deserve their classes looked at at the same time.

You Zealots have hope. Didn't realize they considered Shamans super weak.....however from a Dev post:
Guys,
It's very hard for me to come in and feed you all a line.. Which would be what I did if I noted that we'd be getting to you very soon.
The long and the short of it is the Zealot community has given us alot of very good feedback, and we've been recording it and noting it pretty diligently. That being said Zealots and Runepriests are solid... They are not stellar, but also not super weak. As such careers like the AM / SH will come first.
Now that being said your not exactly far down the line for a really hard focus look. However It would be very remiss of me to build up expectations that your going to get some big sweeping changes soon. To be 100% honest you'll probably see some serious love sometime in the next 2 - 3 patches. Good news is we're planning on patch on a faster cycle now that the game is more mature. So hopefully we're not talking too terribly long here.
Thanks

So true!
Taken straight from the zealot forum:
"Using powerful ritual magic, a Zealot can rob the subject of his Harbinger of life and spirit, draining it away to empower the Marks he has placed upon his allies with extraordinary abilities. "
Sounds OP! Didn't see anything like this in the Shammy forums... |
